Hunter Biden Tells LBC Netanyahu Had Advance Knowledge of Oct. 7 Massacre

Hunter Biden, the son of former U.S. President Joe Biden, claimed in an interview with British broadcaster LBC that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu knew Hamas was planning the Oct. 7 attack and "did absolutely nothing about it".

Speaking to Andrew Marr on Tonight with Andrew Marr, Biden also described the war in Gaza as comparable to genocide, while acknowledging that the term was very loaded. He did not offer evidence for his claim about Netanyahu.

In the same interview, Biden called Donald Trump an existential threat to the United States, NATO and the wider world, describing him as the biggest global crisis since the Second World War. Asked whether he would run for president, he said he had no plans to seek office and wanted to focus on helping people affected by addiction. He said the public scrutiny of his own addiction had forced him to confront it openly and had in many ways saved his life.

The remarks are not the first time Biden has raised the claim. In a July 2025 interview with YouTuber Andrew Callaghan, he suggested that Israel had intelligence on the attack beforehand, asking why the country was not prepared if the Mossad had obtained Hamas's plans a year earlier, and why soldiers were absent from the south for hours.

In August, he called Netanyahu "evil incarnate" during an interview on Tucker Carlson's podcast, in which Carlson claimed that Israeli figures, or figures with ties to Israel, were behind the allegations surrounding Biden's laptop. In a May interview with Candace Owens, Biden claimed Netanyahu had pushed Trump into war with Iran and backed Owens' conspiracy theories about alleged Israeli involvement in Charlie Kirk's assassination.
